KLABAUTERMANN is Oscar van Hoogevest designing sounds for moving images. Holding a Master's in Sound Design from the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), I enjoy exploring multiple formats. My sound work has been screened at more than 140 festivals worldwide, earning for me and the films multiple awards and nominations -- among them a Swiss Movie Award nomination for Best Sound.

In my work, I approach each project with creativity, self-reflection, and a seriousness towards the material and its authors. I am particularly fascinated by the world created in the film and in helping shape it through my sound work. A work becomes truly valuable to me when it triggers an internal process within myself.
